Need a building permit? Need to pay a utility bill or help organize your neighborhood?  The Center provides services to the 150,000 North Sacramento residents of Antelope, North Highlands, Rio Linda, Elverta, Foothill Farms/Old Foothill Farms, and North Natomas; services are open to all County residents and businesses.  BROCHURE

More than 15,000 customers have visited the one-stop Center for services including building permits, code compliance, fire inspection, planning, transportation, and other issues.  View our 2007 Activity Report for the center.

We work with NorthCAST, a multi-departmental team with specialized background and skills tailored to north area concerns.

Apply for a business license or fictitious business name - Business Licensing staff are on site Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  You can apply for a business license or fictitious business name at the counter.  Visit the Business License website

 

Pay County Utilities Bills -  Staff can accept payments, check balances and reprint lost bills for customers.  Call 874-2424 or 875-5555 for more information or visit http://www.msa.saccounty.net/utilitybilling/

 

Have Neighborhood Concerns?  There are many ways to get the help you need: contact the Community Assistance Resource Center to report nuisances such as illegal dumping or abandoned cars; contact the Transportation E-Services to report transportation-related concerns; contact us at (916) 874-2424, or e-mail David Webb.  Visit the McClellan Airport Noise Information website to register a noise complaint related to the airbase.

Freedom Park Drive - In North Highlands around Freedom Park Drive and Watt Avenue, the area is slated as the "North Highlands Town Center".  A "North Highlands Town Center Development Code" is underway to create a vision for a mixed use center.

 

The Elverta Specific Plan covers 1,740-acres in northern Sacramento County.  Visit the new Elverta Specific Plan website.
